Jay E. Carlson is a visionary technology leader whose career spans over three decades at the forefront of telecommunications, IT infrastructure, and public-sector innovation. As the longest-tenured Chief Information Officer in the telecommunications industry, Jay served 17.5 years as CIO of Charter Communications, where he unified systems and strategy across some of the industry's largest mergers..

At Charter, Jay led the consolidation of IT and infrastructure following the acquisitions of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, integrating ERP and CRM platforms to enable operational scale. Through this experience, Jay built a strong track record of implementing end-to-end customer lifecycle engagement by streamlining systems and processes, earning him high regard across the industry. He holds more than 15 patents in cybersecurity and advanced network technologies, including innovations in binary code cloaking and encryption.

Jay's leadership legacy began in the 1980s at Centel Telecommunications and spans groundbreaking deployments in SONET systems, Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial networks, and nationwide fiber strategies. He has held senior roles at Jones Intercable, 21st Century Telecom, Ameritech New Media, and Universal Access, where he pioneered global meet-me facilities and last-mile connectivity.

His impact extends to public service as Illinois’ first Chief Technology Officer, where he consolidated 48 state agencies' IT operations, saving billions and expanding the Illinois Century Network. His work bridged government, education, and research institutions with reliable digital infrastructure.

His deep focus on partnership-building and client success has made him a trusted advisor and strategic problem-solver.

Del’s career includes pioneering milestones such as deploying the first broadband cable modem in a live CATV system, introducing central office switching into headends for CLEC services, and brokering one of the first fiber-optic interconnects between energy utilities and telecom networks. His efforts shaped the early client-server OSS/BSS landscape and helped usher in the era of integrated customer care platforms.

Charlotte’s leadership has left an enduring mark on the cable and broadband industry. As SVP at Charter Communications, Comcast, and AT&T Broadband, she led the transformation of enterprise and customer-facing systems, ensuring reliability, security, and innovation at scale. Her career spans roles in engineering, operations, and systems development, including formative work at AT&T Bell Labs and multiple national platforms.

At Charter Communications, Charlotte led the Applications Platform Operations team, overseeing service delivery and network security infrastructure. At Comcast, she headed infrastructure and operations nationwide. Charlotte holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with additional executive education from INSEAD and Harvard Business School. She has served on multiple university advisory boards and national telecom councils, including chairing the FCC’s CSRIC VII council.

In Marketing, he served as Charter’s VP of National Sales Channels and Marketing Operations, overseeing $110M in marketing spend and delivering double-digit growth across e-commerce, outbound telemarketing, and direct mail channels.

Robert’s earlier experience includes positions at Dish Network and Sprint PCS, where he built a reputation for launching new offerings, optimizing performance metrics, and enhancing customer experience across digital platforms.

Chris’s leadership extends across infrastructure optimization, M&A integration, data warehousing, and security policy development. As a strategic advisor and CISO, he supports clients with both the technical expertise and the organizational know-how to evolve their data practices without sacrificing speed or control.
