SHEILA SITZER
SHEILA'S STORY
Sheila’s passion is in creating and developing workplace cultures that enable people to bring their best selves to work. An avid follower of Brene Brown and Simon Sinek, she believes that organizational objectives are maximized by investing in authentic and vulnerable relationships with people at work. Sheila has been trained as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Clifton Strengths coach, DISC facilitator, and Listen Like a Leader Professor through the Barry Wehmiller Leadership Institute. She enjoys building developing and implementing people processes and initiatives with these tools in mind to help leaders understand that understanding and valuing the differences in each other is critical to creating high performing teams.
Sheila is driven to build organizations with a diversity & inclusion focus. She is a past member of the Charter Communications Multicultural, Women’s, and LGBTQ Business Resource Groups. Sheila served as a mentor in the Charter mentorship program and was an active participant of the WICT Midwest Outreach Committee. During her time with Panera, Sheila was actively involved as a leader in the Panera’s Women’s Network and served as a mentor to women in the organization whose focus was to expand their careers.
Sheila has been a speaker at a variety of professional conferences including as a panelist at the 2023 Launch Code Tech Shift Summit, a featured speaker at the HR Leadership Summit in Clearwater, FL in October 2019, as a podcast guest on Supply Chain Now (Episode 103), and as a panel speaker at the 2018 eft 3PL Supply Chain Summit in Atlanta, GA. She has facilitated a number of team building events and conferences for her teams in the past, including 3 day Listen Like a Leader workshops in Queretaro, MX, Dallas, TX, and Milwaukee, WI. She has held her SPHR certification since 2007, has been a certified DISC facilitator since 2016, and a Gallup Strength Finders coach since 2020.
When not at work, Sheila enjoys spending time with her children, endurance running, traveling and reading. Sheila enjoys antiquing, interior design, 80s arcade games, and darts. As a runner, she has competed in more than 50 races including 5 marathons, and 7 half-marathons
